Two NYU Students Arrested During Protest
By Aidan Gardiner
Following a struggle with police, two New York University students were arrested during a protest alongside New School students on November 19.
The demonstration, billed as a dance party, was held in solidarity with University of California students who occupied campus buildings there to protest tuition hikes. The group of 30 people, predominantly New School students many of whom have participated in New School in Exile events, began in Washington Square Park then moved to Union Square before returning again to where they began. Protesters wouldn't say who organized the demonstration.
